Remote Applications

Remote application are accessible via ABCDesktop. This is a web-service that gives access to desktop applications from a browser. The main advantages ABCDesktop provides are the ability to share the working sessions between users and that there is no need for installation of application from user’s side. It is primarily used to host ProMo.

Promo-abcloudtop is a Virtual Desktop on Cloud (VDC) that uses abcdesktop.io platform https://www.abcdesktop.io/ and is primarily intended to give access to the Process Modeller (ProMo) tool. A list of other applications, e.g., Firefox browser, filemanager, Jupyter notebook and other data processing and visualization applications can readily be added as per the requirement.
